Thread lifts tighten your skin by inserting medical-grade thread material into the face and then pull the skin up by tightening the thread. In addition to being ideal for lifting the skin, threads combat the ageing process in another way: by provoking the body’s natural “healing response” by causing the body to direct large surges of collagen to the treated areas. This is important because of the vital role collagen plays in the ageing process. The thread lift procedure rejuvenates, regenerates and lifts your skin.
The product used is a very fine needle affixed to an absorbable thread, made from PDO (Polydioxanone). Needles are inserted to the subcutaneous or SMAS layer of the skin, and when the needle is taken out, the dissolvable threads remain in the skin.
The procedure is painless and leads to a more youthful looking appearance and face by stimulating collagen. The end result is firmer, tighter and smoother skin with less winkles.

Thread lift is a very safe procedure and complications are extremely rare. The treated area is anaesthetised with cream, followed by thread insertion.
